Lawrence Lanoff

Entertaining nonsense about Karin (Kim Delaney), a photographer who gets involved in a supernatural ritual while on a trip to India. Returning to American she becomes sexually insatiable with a newly found taste for fetishistic sex. It's up to square boyfriend Matt (Chris Sarandon) and best friend Allison (Dee Wallace) to try and save her from the sex demon within her. The story by Melissa Mitchell is silly but entertaining and provides plenty of intrigue despite being populated by a set of completely unrealistic characters. Director Lawrence Lanoff and cinematographer Anthony G. Nakonechnyj give the film a decent look with some well-realised creepy sequences and some clever washes of colour. The sex sequences are nicely shot with a roving camera and Kim Delaney puts in a first class turn as the possessed leading lady. Overall this is silly and preposterous but still provides plenty of diverting and amusing entertainment.… (plus d'informations)
