Important as one of the early works that introduced haiku to a widwe poetry reading and writing public in English, though now rather old-fashioned

This is a very short book -- it can easily be read in one afternoon. It's a nice straightforward introduction to Japanese Haiku, English Haiku, and Teaching Haiku.
