Weekend with Grandmother (Easy to Read S.) par Wolfram Hänel
I had not read this book until I used it for a class assignment, but it was very cute! It reminded me of my grandmother. This book is very cute and children will love it. It is a longer book but can be read to toddlers. This book can also be a transition book for children.
Delightful. ?áStarts out like Corduroy, but instead of a bear getting adopted and cherished by a little girl, a bowler gets adopted by a round little bald man. ?áUnfortunately, he's henpecked by a wife who does not approve of the hat, so it seems destined to a life even more humdrum than that lived in the shop. ?áUntil....

Ein spannendes Sachbuch in geschichtenform für alle, die sich für Piraten, Grace o'Malley und Irland interessieren.
Auch für mich als Erwachsene,war das Buch spannend und interessant zu lesen.
Grace o'Malley wird nicht nur als brutale Piratenbraut dargestellt, sondern ihr Leben wird von klein auf beleuchtet und differenziert wird dargestellt, wie sie zu einer Piratenkönigin wurde.
Auch für mich als Erwachsene,war das Buch spannend und interessant zu lesen.
Grace o'Malley wird nicht nur als brutale Piratenbraut dargestellt, sondern ihr Leben wird von klein auf beleuchtet und differenziert wird dargestellt, wie sie zu einer Piratenkönigin wurde.
Originally published in German as Fröhliche Weihnachten mit Familie Maus ("A Jolly Christmas with the Mouse Family"), this cute little book follows the story of two mouse children, Pip and Squeak, who build a snowman outside their home one wintry Christmas Day, and then, convinced that their creation is lonely, try to bring him inside so that he too can enjoy the festivities. When this (predictably) doesn't quite work out, the children and their parents come up with a better solution - one that involves the entire neighborhood...
