Number 2 in this series. I was a bit dissapointed with this one. The stories about his troubled life as a manga artist continues, however, in this volume it becomes a bit repetitious. In fact, it becomes a bit boring some times. There are still some great moments in there, but not at all as good as his previous works.
This is the follow up to 僕の規模な失敗 which I really enjoyed. It follows the writer himself, but now he has actually gotten some manga artist gigs, and he is married with that girl from the inaka that he met earlier. I have to say that the mood is a bit lighter in this one, and it is not for the better. Also the artwork is a bit more polished. However, it is still a very good manga and worth getting if you like stories about people with low self-esteem.
This is an excellent manga. It follows the writer himself, as he tries to establish himself as a manga artist. He has to deal with a lot of problems, mostly personal, and works in seveal mcjobs, being a freeter and all that. This is by far the best of Fukumitsu Shigeyuki's comics that I have read. The language is pretty simple, so even if your Japanese is not that strong, you should be able to follow the story. Compared to his later works, this one is more raw looking, and the whole mood is a bit darker.… (plus d'informations)
