The illustrations are very Jan Thomas like which makes sense since she is the author. Great rhyme that seamlessly goes from suggesting to counting how many goats in different scenes. Great for storytime! ( )

Similar to Where Is The Green Sheep? but with counting. If you pause to count, though, it interrupts the rhyming flow of the text, especially at the end ("Can you count their pricked-up ears? You can? I'm not surprised!")
