To Snare A Wolf is a beautiful crafted tale describing French and German agents' endeavors to steal secrets prior to WWI. The action ranges through France, Germany and Switzerland. Men will be absorbed by the military combat, flashing swordfights using secrets, pistol duels, and a circus clown operating a spy ring in Paris. Sensuous scenes involve a Moulin Rouge nightclub act, Gypsy dancing girls in Pigalle, a look inside a Paris bordello, and captivating French courtesans. Women will love both the historical content and the passionate love affairs; eavesdrop on conversations inside an Impressionist's studio. Christian Dejoux, the French hero, serves France in wartime as a durmmer boy. He is wounded and later seeks revenge by spying in Berlin. He seduces a secretary in the Berlin Ministry of War and unintentionally falls in love with her. Wolfgang Lowenhardt, the adversary who is born into an autocratic Berlin family, learns to swordfight in the Mensur fraternity duels. He believes Germany is destined to lead Europe. With a wolf-like, sharp-featured face and topaz eyes, he uses his Wolf's head sword cane to dispose of French agents pursuring him as he tries to escape to Germany.
