Great People Of The 20th Century contains one-page bios and engaging photos of many of the most significant leaders and influencers of the 20th century -- diplomats and warriors, scientists and moguls, explorers and artists.

Ultimately, nothing very interesting or unique in this book. I've been trying to get rid of this for a while. It's just sort of been sitting on my shelf. Unless you're REALLY into this kind of thing, leave it at the bookstore. ( )

A collection of short biographies of influential and famous people of the 20th Century. Well-written with good photos, perhaps more geared to school-age kids. The title is misleading; with people like Hitler and Lenin profiled, it should be the most influential people of the century. A useful book to perhaps expand a high-schooler's knowledge of historical figures. ( )
