Holliday's travels take him to Rome and Egypt as he searches for his missing niece. I will be reading more of the John Holliday adventures. ( ) The Templar Cross by Paul Christopher is a quick good read. The sister of a retired Army colonel is kidnapped on a archaeology expedition looking for the tomb of Imhotep in the Sahara. The story revolves around the search and rescue for his sister. It involves an Israeli who is her lover and an Egyptian. This is a sequel of an earlier novel, The Sword of the Templars. The foe is an arm of the Catholic church who was the foe in the earlier book. The tomb of Imhotep is located as part of the story. It had been located by the leader of the Brotherhood of Isis, a terrorist group in the Sahara. The leader has been looting the tomb slowly. It also involves some Nazi gold in WWII that was being transported out of the Sahara in exchange for the Catholic church assisting a Nazi SS member escape and hide from his war crimes. The story is not as involved as the Dan Brown novels, but it is a quick read for a summer vacation. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

Her captors are known as the Brotherhood of the Temple of Isis-murderous fanatics who worship a dead god. Holliday sets out with Rafi to find the only family he has left. But their search for Peggy will lead them to a trail of clues that spans across the globe and into the heart of a conspiracy involving an ancient Egyptian legend and the darkest secrets of the Order of Templar Knights.
