#18 in the Penn Dutch Inn Mysteries and apparently the last in the series. Magdalena inadvertently helps to thwart a bank robbery by some Amish men. Knowing that Amish would never carry out an armed robbery she starts to do some investigating of her own but runs into obstacles and dead bodies at every turn. (

Cute and sometimes funny cozy mystery. The main character could be kind of annoying sometimes or I’d read more of these. I started the series at number 18 because that’s all my library had, but I mag try to find the beginning books to give it a fairer shake. (

First off, let me say that I have read all the other Pennsylvania Dutch Mystery books and have really enjoyed them. This one though is not worth reading. It's like the author just gave up and decided to write something to fulfill her contract. It's boring and makes no sense whatsoever. (
