This is a very good collection of the first comics featuring the Inhumans. Also includes some of The Avengers comics. ( )

This collection brought back some memories. I always really loved these characters with their stories of outsidership and fighting for acceptance in the greater world. I was surprised at the small but numerous discrepancies in the stories as they recapped histories and made subtle changes to chronology, etc. that might have gone by unnoticed in a serial comic - but stood out when reading them in this collection. Of course, there were also holes in the histories from the multiple appearances they made in the Fantastic Four, Spider-man, etc. that were not included in this collection. This was the era of comics I found to be richest in creativity, meaningful and challenging story-telling, fantastic and diverse character-building, and consistently good art. All of these components were evident here in these pages. ( )
