Two quibbles: is the main character a mouse? The only way that I can tell is that he enacts the ?sterotype/?truth that elephants are terrified of mice. Is the presumed audience aware of this mouse-elephant canard? ( ) Something that I really liked about this book was the fact that it had no words. There were words on the first page of the story and that was it. This left the story up to many different interpretations. There is a taxi driver and someone that gets in his taxi leaves a red scarf behind and the taxi driver has to go through all of the obstacles in the circus to find this person who owns the red scarf. I also really enjoyed the illustrations. The illustrations were very different in the sense that they look as if they were colored onto the pages. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
