On a road trip from southern Ohio to Washington, my buddy and I hiked in the Badlands National Park dogging some buffalo. My friend's feet got blistered so bad, he could barely walk the rest of the trip, which included Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Shell Falls, Cody Wyoming, and three days in Yellowstone. Picking up the park passport book gave us something to do--it was great to have something to do with our time since we couldn't hike.

Since then, this book has been an excuse to go to five of the 8 stamp sites in my home state of Washington. My baby daughter and wife have them now, too, and it's so much fun to get out to the parks with the family. ( )

I'm so glad I picked up this little book. It is quickly becoming a new addiction of mine. Go to as many national parks as I can and get dozens of stamps. Even if that means re-visiting some of them. I can see this becoming very expensive as I have to travel across the big pond to fill it with stamps. ( )
