I rather wish it would slow down for more of Puck's changes and hijinks (Yes, Goodreads, that is a word). But the story is for children, who would probably not enjoy it as much as I would. Suffice it to say, I want the next one (and the end!) soon. ( ) The Inside Story, Book 8 of the series, The Sisters Grimm, finds the sisters, Sabrina, Daphne, and Puck stuck in the Book of Everafter, where all the fairy tales are stored. The girls and Puck chase the Master (the looking glass character) through many stories, The girls are looking for their baby brother who was kidnapped by the Master. Many stories get changed and the Editor must send the Revisers to clean up the mess by eating everything in the story so it can be rewritten. This book has so funny humor, thrilling battles, and disappointing failures in trying to rescue their brother. The book is easily read and the girls are good heroes battling evil. Curricular Connection: Reading fantasy in the classroom as a read aloud will provide for the springboard writing their own Fantasy or Fairy Tale. Sabrina, Daphne and Puck track Pinocchio and Mirror through the Book of Everafter. Fairy tale characters changing the stories inside a book of fairy tales — is this fairy tale Inception? A fun entry to the series, with great character development and a theme of destiny vs choices that plays out in multiple ways throughout the story. Great series, but this one installment really meanders on and on through too many fairy-tale steps. I don't want to say more to avoid SPOILER, but this one particular installment is a disappointment and I've given all the other installments (1 through 7) 5*****. Still, stuff happens in here that's going to be necessary for the concluding volume, so it has to be read. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
