I had my first contact with Torpedo through an anthology when I was 13-14. As I was raised with Marvel Comics, everything seemed wrong (The length of the stories, the motiffs of the characters, the takes, the light, even Bernet's art that sometimes ressembled Joe Kuberts's inks). But as I started immersing on it, I was hooked and everything that i thoght wrong seemed fresh and ingenious.

Highly recommended for those who like 1930's noir stories or Azzarello and Risso's 100 Bullets. Talking about Eduardo Risso, in Torpedo you can check one his main influences.
