![]() Actuellement, il n'y a pas de discussions au sujet de ce livre. ![]() ![]() Enola finds that she needed a new home as well as new disguises since she was exposed helping Mrs Tupper in the previous mystery. There appears to be another case of a missing Lady Blanchefleur del Campo. Sherlock finds that he is also working on the same case. It does amuse Sherlock that Enola is quite successful in solving mysteries. She finds questions and possibly answers when she meets a gypsy. The woman seems to know things about Enola and her mother’s disappearance. She offers vague information regarding her mother’s whereabouts. Coincidentally, it is Sherlock who receives a package for Enola just before her 15th birthday. They know it is from their mother as it is ciphered in such a way that only Enola can decipher it. This book wraps up many loose ends from the previous books. Enola Holmes and the Black Barouche Continues the adventures of Enola This is a pivotal book in the series because Sherlock and Mycroft finally accept Enola’s sleuthing (or rather Mycroft finally does… Sherlock was convinced at least one book ago). It is a culmination of all the previous books and the family storyline, and it’s a treat to see the three Holmes siblings working together for once. I have to say, though, I’m still slightly disbelieving that a 14-year-old could accomplish all Enola did in a year; I kept picturing her as more of a 16- or 17-year-old, but this could be based on 21st-century thinking. I love her spirit and her initiative and her resourcefulness and will happily read more of her adventures. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
