In this story Henry has a little brother called Peter and Henry tries to get rid of him, but in the end Henry becomes the hero. Henry had been a horrible baby while his younger brother, Peter, was perfect. Henry tries everything he can to get Peter in trouble like digging a hole in their mum's flower bed, but it never works. He eventually shows that he cares about Peter when he shoos off a dog that was snarling at Peter. But tomorrow, watch out...
this book is good for the children who are starting off reading books without pictures on every page, the book has characters that experience different topics that makes the children or adults enjoy reading, the antagonist is based on horrid henry who gets into a lot of trouble because of his actions but he has a little brother named "perfect peter" and from his nickname he is perfect and is the opposite of henry, in the horrid henry series perfect peter is a burden to henry. |As peter is born henry does everything to get rid of him but fails but then we see a side to him that we haven't seen before and it makes henry feel happy
It's a dreadful shock for Horrid Henry when Perfect Peter is born, and despite his best, or worst, efforts, he can't manage to get rid of him. As Peter gets bigger, Henry gets crosser. But the day comes when Henry inadvertently finds himself saving Peter from a big fierce dog, and discovers that it's rather nice to be a hero. Setting the scene for the Horrid Henry storybooks, this is a story with a universally recognizable theme. The text is very simple and very funny: the artwork is bright and colourful in the spirit of the original Horrid Henry books. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
