Negi continues his quest to save his students in a magical world and begins training under a new mentor. The action and romantic comedy are in full force in this volume, but readers will yearn for some sort of story or character reference, as the twisting plot and massive cast are difficult to keep track of after 22 volumes. Ken's art is top form, as always, with very cute girls in inventive costumes... or lack of them (seeing Setsuna in nothing but her wings is sure to stay with many a male). The fight scenes are easy to follow, and the fantasy settings in grand vistas show the power of using 3D models as a background for manga. As always, the actions of 10 year old wizard Negi are something for readers to relate to, even if the situations are as outlandish as ever. The bonus translation notes help explain things to those unfamiliar with Japanese culture. As is the case with most Akamatsu manga, this book contains heavy fan service, which some may find offensive. Not the best in the series, but Negima fans get lots of all three things that make the boy wizard's story so popular. aucune critique | ajouter une critique

To help his students get home from the Magical World, Negi must become a more powerful wizard--and fast. Just when he's beginning to doubt himself, he meets Rakan, his father's old friend and rival. Rakan is an awesome wizard, but his teaching methods are a little eccentric. Can he teach Negi to be strong like his father? Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

It sure is more enjoyable to read Negima in volumes as opposed to chapter increments. ^_^;; ( )
