I think my trouble with this one is that I just really don't like the present tense narration. I mostly skimmed this, and probably won't bother with the next in the series. ( ) If you read this, come talk to me about Gabry. Because while the story had it's moments, I spent most of it wanting to strangle her and feed her to the unconsecrated in pieces. She drove me batty. I still think the world was pretty cool though. And there was a bit near the end with a bridge that I really loved and that's stayed with me since I finished it. So not a total loss. I must admit that I didn't think this book would be better than The Forest of Hands and Teeth, but it was so much better!! It starts out even more slow than the first book and takes longer than the first book to get going, but once it does, it's so so good!! I love the plot twist in this concerning Gabry. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series =) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
