Photographs deliver strong emotion on disturbing practices that occur in our world even today. This is a book that everyone should read. It describes some of the worst child abuse I have ever heard of. Child labor is child abuse and I don't think enough people in this world know or care enough about it. So sad to see all of these children not have a childhood full of playing, learning in school, and being feed properly. Heartbreaking The pictures in the book add great depth and drama to the stories of different child workers throughout the world. Many do not know beyond their own communities and this book opens one's eyes to what is happening in the world. Child labor is as true today as when the book was published 2 decades ago. This book would be great to explore with students about different aspects of the world and for reasearch for a social studies project. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
