The author uses one work to describe the actions of Billy and Milly. Some examples are: playing basketball, bike riding, and eating ice cream. Comments: The illustrations in the book are so important for the reader to understand what is going on in the story. The one or two words on each page are depicted through the pictures. This book is a great book for young children. I think this is a good book to reinforce vocabulary. Follow Billy and Milly through thirteen adventures in these funny and simple short stories. Through very basic storytelling, these brief narratives are told in only three or four words apiece. Eve Feldman cleverly uses easily recognizable words in these entertaining episodes, and Tuesday Mourning's vibrant, playful illustrations jump off the page to bring readers right into the action.
