Kandor is either in Antarctica or at the North Pole (Perry says one thing, Lois the other, not sure if the writer knew either). And that means that about 100,000 new super powered beings are being created by the sun. That means that soon Kryptonians are flying all over the Earth. Making some people happy, other people mad, and a lot of people very, very worried.
But I thought that the best part of the volume was at the end. Flamebird and Nightwing fly again. Awesome. (Add to that the fact that they were stopping a couple of Zod's jerky followers. Totally Awesome). ( )
Meh. I'm a big fan of Geoff Johns, James Robinson, Gary Frank, etc. Though not a committed reader of the Superman titles, I still am up on the general story, characters, locales, etc. That said, this didn't do much for me. A Volume 1 should pull you in and make you want to read the next volume immediately. Not so, here. ( )
