Very nicely done beginning beader's manual. The photographs were stellar, the instructions very easy to understand, and the layout perfect. If you want to start beading and don't know where to begin, this is your book! (

While I have not yet sat down and actually used this book yet, I can already tell it's something I will eventually purchase. Its compact design makes it easy to port around. The spiral binding keeps your page open to where you need it without effort. The chapters are easily identifiable, and the explanations are in terms you can understand. It comes equipped with step by step photos to help give visual support. (

I was trying to learn general stringing techniques from various project directions and could never find exactly what I needed when I needed it. So this is a big help. However, it isn't comprehensive. There is nothing here about using mono-filament (though I suspect it's fairly close to using thread). There's also a lot of overlap with instructions I have elsewhere, like macrame and bead weaving stitches. (
