A little girl, who lived with her grandparents, wanted to go into the woods to look for berries with her friends. Her grandparents said that would be fine but for her to stay with her friends. They were picking berries, she looked around, and her friends were nowhere in sight. She wandered everywhere for them and finally came upon a cabin. No one was home so she went on in only to find out that a big bear lived there. This bear told the little girl that she was to stay there and take care of him and that she could not leave. The girl was there for a while and them thought up a plan to escape. She baked pies and put them in a basket then asked the bear to take them to her grandparents. He said he would so while he was outside she snuck and hid in the basket under the pies. In the end, she made it home safely. This book is about a little girl who lives with her grandparents and goes to play in the forest one day with her friends. When she gets lost in the forest and cannot find her friends she stops at a house in the forest to ask how to get back to her village. When she knocks on the door of the house a bear answers the door and grabs the little girl and takes her into his house. He tells her that she will be his servant and take care of him for as long as she is able. The little girl is so afraid of the big bear that she does not try to leave because she knows the bear will eat her. One day she comes up with a plan to get back to her grandparents. She tells the bear that she wants him to take some pies to her grandparents and that she will watch him from the tallest oak tree in the forest as he travels to her house. When the bear is not looking she jumps into the basket and covers herself up with the pies. Once the bear travels to the little girls grandparents house all the dogs in the village chase the bear back into the forest and the little girl jumps out of the basket and is greeted by her grandparents. The story ends with the little girls grandparents being very happy to see her and the little girl being back at home safe. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
