I have read this book in Japanese. When I was a child, I thought this is a horror story.
But now, I think this is a sad story.
The phantom really loved Christine. He wanted to get Chiristine's heart.
The ending was maybe happy end, because Chiristine and Raoul would marry, but I thougt Erik was unhappy. He loved Christine purely however he was mad.
I wanted Erik to be happy, too. ( )

It was a bit strange and scarly book. the last was very sad and I wanted to more excitement. the last part was bit boring. I want to see the musical of the phantom of the opera. ( )

I love this story.I think this story is mysterious and uncanny but very beautiful.
I like Erik better than Raoul. If i were Christine, I would go with Erik. ( )

I like this book very much. I watched the movie of this. And I am going to watch the musical play of this in next spring. I think the phantom is not a bad man. I feel he is pity because he is scared by people because of his face and character. I think he is actually a kind man. But people around him make him dangerous. ( )
