I found this to be quite a page turner. I liked that Jonathan seemed to be a thoughtful and caring person. But I had some trouble believing some of his choices. Surprising ending to me. ( ) WARNING: Contains Spoilers Loveable children's novel which is also a mystery. The mystery is that a teacher named Mr. Robinson has been found dead at Meddington Boarding School and it is thought by most to be suicide which a note featuring scrawl seems to confirm. Jonathan Meredith thinks differently as he knows that his favourite teacher Mr Hugo lied to the police about the time in which he last saw Mr. Robinson. Some of the scenes are quite frightening especially when Meredith is rockclimbing with Mr. Hugo and Mr. Hugo almost murders him. A peculiar character is Iris Webster who is neglected by her string playing mother and has a giant crush on the deceased 'Robin'. She cries much and tries to kill herself by plunging into the dangerous river but Meredith saves her whilst almost dying himself. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
