Worry in children

Jessica is a worrier, and now she has something new to worry about: fire safety. Jessica learns about fire prevention in school and brings her safety tips home. A very cool book talking about fire safety and what to do if there is a fire and how to prevent a fire. Age appropriate for ages 3-5years. Found at university place library

Margery Cuyler’s Story about fire safety and a little girl fear of it, is excellent for preschool children. It has bright illustrations that go along with the story line. The language of the story is easy to read with lots of important fire safety facts and words used throughout the book. It also has new vocabulary and expands on the topic of fire safety at home. Along with all of the facts and language this book also shows how to deal with the specific emotions of fear and anxiety.

This is a great story to help students know what to do when there is a fire. (Stop, Drop and Roll)
