"3 out of 5 stars! This is a perfect book for those times when you need to unplug and relax! I laughed all the way through it! Emma and Kenny's relationship was a riot and Kenny's snarky responses to her demands were nothing short of hysterical. After reading this, I'm bumping up the other books by this author on my TBR! Definitely check this out, but be warned. Reading this in public could prove problematic.
3 out of 5 stars! I loved "Fancy Pants" -- I was so excited to read this story ("Lady Be Good") since it takes the main characters from "Fancy Pants" and made them secondary characters in this one ..... and when it's done right just makes it all the better! Lady Emma and Kenny have a good relationship and I love reading the chemistry between them. However, I think the end was a little rushed for me. But I did like how their final argument played out!! If you are a fan of Susan Elizabeth Phillips' books (and have read "Fancy Pants") then I highly recommend reading this one! Especially with "Call Me Irresistible" coming out in early 2011, which is about Ted's love life (who's the child from the main characters of "Fancy Pants" and play a secondary role in this book too). Emma was a little bit annoying at times, but at others, I love her character. I liked that she was pretty crazy at some moments (*cough* In the drogery) and spontaneous. But sometimes she was way too into leading.
I like Kenny. The scene with the keyholder was really fun. We definitely can see how he grew up in the end and it was really beautiful. The man he became was the man every woman dreams of. I like how he hated explaining why he did what he did, I liked that he didn't care about people's opinion and I definitely loved his passion for the golf. And that's why the ending was so perfect.
The book was good, it kinda annoyed me at the end, but still, it was good and I really enjoyed reading it.
