AJ’s pee wee football team is horrendous. Last year, the Moose, his team, were winless. Everyone knows how bad they are and lets them know it. This year, those fortunes may change as they have a new coach, Miss Hyatt. She has some unconventional ways of doing drills and running practice. With these techniques, will she be able to help the Moose beat the Sharks? Miss Hyatt has a couple tricks up her bag to ensure that victory happens. There are cartoon illustrations spread throughout the text. The book was full of easy to read, simple sentences and was full of humor. The story line is simple and the book is fun and engaging. This is a book for grades 3-5. This series is popular among my fifth-grade students. Having them find a reading series and getting into it is important.
