This was a cute book. It was about a little girl who stays home sick from school but she really doesn't want to. She entertains herself by acting like a dog.

Beatrice is a young girl who had gotten sick from one of her classmates, Harriet Peterson. She stays home from school sick and makes believe she is a dog, among other things. She is sad she missed many things at school that day, and is excited when she can return back to school the next day!

The book is about a girl named Phoebe who gets sick. She gets the sniffles from Harriet Peterson. She is sad she misses school, so she imagines she is a dog. Her mother pretends along with her and makes her lunch. Her grandmother comes over and plays Goldfish cards with her. Then, her dad comes home and pretends to be allergic to her because he is allergic to dogs. The next day, Phoebe gets better and gets ready for school.

This book is about a kindergarten who caught a cold from another girl in her class. She has to stay home from school and she is not happy about it. She gets through the day by hanging out with her family and using her imagination.

Phoebe Dexter has a cold and has to stay home from school. She is very upset that she is missing all the fun activities at school. At first she is grouchy, but she eventually finds many ways to entertain herself. The next day she is very happy because she is all better and can go to school.
