Ontario's rich and diverse past provides many vivid narratives for writers and historians, and since 1903, the Archives of Ontario has been the central repository for the province's history. With a collection of over 3.5 million photographs, 35 000 maps, and 150 000 architectural drawings in its downtown Toronto site, the Archives offer Ontarians extensive access to their collective history.
