You are walking through the streets of London. It is getting dark and you want to get home quickly. You enter a narrow side-street. Everything is quiet, but as you pass the door of a large, windowless building, you hear a key turning in the lock. A man comes out and looks at you. You have never seen him before, but you realize immediately that he hates you. You are shocked to discover, also, that you hate him. Who is this man that everybody hates? And why is he coming out of the laboratory of the very respectable Dr Jekyll?… (plus d'informations)

Dr Jekyll has dangerous thought. He is a very clever scientist, and he has found a way of turning this dream into reality...

I had heard this story, but I had never read. This is horrible story. I was not able to expect the last at first, but more I read the story, more I can expect it. The last is very surprising and sad. Jekyll and Hyde are very sad men. How exciting and terrible to change into someone else! ( )

This book is about the scientist who succeeded in having his good side and bad side separately by the drug made by him. Hyde is Jekyll's bad side. At first he enjoyed the life as Hyde. But finally Jekyll was invaded by Hyde and both of them died. Before I read this book to the end, I thought Jekyll is a fool. However, when I looked at the sentence"everyone is a mixture of good and evil", I sympathized with Jekyll. I also have two sides in my body. This story is deeper than I thought. ( )

This story is about a dual personality.
When Dr.Jekyll takes medicine,he transforms into Mr.Hyde.
I think that this story ends with so interesting phrase.
"Now,as I put down my pen,I bring the life of unhappy Henry Jekyll to an end." ( )
