It had great action and an interesting backstory. I found myself liking Ethan, a new vampire who lacked all of the classic alpha male traits so common in many of her novels. On the otherhand, the female protagonist, Lilith, really got on my nerves. She acted more like a spoiled brat than a strong fiesty woman. The concept of The Farm was interesting and should make for a string of good stories. The CIA is running a secret program to create super-vampires, brainwashed to do exactly as the government directs. Problem: a couple of the Bloodline vampires have escaped. Lilith, one of the escapees, has no memory - in fact she doesn't even realize she IS a vampire - until she meets her true love Ethan. Now they're on their way back to the farm to kick some a$$ and take some names. Those positive comments they stick on the back of books to convince you to buy them? I can't believe that any of the people who commented on this one actually read the book. Sappy, boring, and banal. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
