I fell over this book in my local library and I'm so glad I did! Reviewing the history of reproductive choice was enlightening and it took me back to my own youth and the "choices" I had available to me. I had been too long away from my feminist roots! I will renew my vigilance to resist efforts to take us backwards in reproductive freedom. ( )

This is written by Gloria Feldt, the current president of Planned Parenthood. This is a nonfiction book explaining abortion and the choices behind them. Within the pages are letters written by women, or men, who had to deal with the issue of abortion. This book is amazing and moving. It is a collection of stories by women who were brave enough to write in. Of course some names and places have been changed to protect privacy but it is a great book because it brings real stories to a sometimes abstract topic. It brings a face to the issue. I highly recommend this to both pro-life and pro-choice people... as well as anyone who is uncertain on the issue. ( )
