The detailed illustrations can be used to ask questions about the character's emotions throughout the book. ( ) Nina’s friends think she will be the star of the show. Nina doesn’t tell them the truth and worries when her mom invites her friend to the recital. Nina confesses to her friend she is not the star of the show, but her friend is just happy to see Nina dance. This is a good book to teach about telling the truth. This book is an excellent book to teach children about telling the truth. Nina, the main character, learns the hard way that lying doesn't feel good. In the end she learns that telling the truth will not make friends leave, rather stick around and support her through whatever she is going through! This is a valuable lesson to be taught to young children, especially Pre-K and kindergarten children who are just learning the ropes about themselves, and others. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
