Having something of an agglomerative feel despite the author's efforts to provide a coherent narrative, that might ultimately be the point. These units were something of an afterthought and for all that tanks were officially the preserve of the U.S. Army's Infantry Branch for most of the interwar period most of the serious thinking about armored warfare came out of the Cavalry Branch and this shows in how tactical combined-arms doctrine from the infantry perspective was something that was produced on the fly. That I don't give this book a somewhat higher rating is a commentary on how Yeide has improved as an author over time. ( ) aucune critique | ajouter une critique
