Apparently I read this six years ago - don't remember it at all. It's not terrible, but not a keeper. Wild attraction based on nothing, some seriously improbable setups, really stupid choices...and just as a minor point, she starts calling him by his odd nickname as soon as they kiss, when he never told it to her (and no one else knows it). I figured out the traitor long before Fax did - which _might_ be based on having read it before, but I really don't think so. Nothing seemed familiar in the story, it was just pretty obvious from what was said who was lying. A little too certain, mostly. And Chelsea has a very convenient and very quick epiphany, changing her in just a couple days from a "wimp" to someone who can plan and carry out an operation. Also, a really stupid title, not really related to the story at all. I think I got this from Harlequin for doing a survey (like the other reviewer). Not worth keeping, no interest in rereading. Ugh. I got this free from Harlequin, in exchange for a survey after I'd finished the books (I received two). This one was soooooo boring! I didn't care about the characters, didn't care about the plot, didn't want to read past page 1. The characters were very flat and the writing, while technically good, was kind of blah, really. Also, while I normally enjoy a good sex scene, these were...awkward. And at times, comically written, as in "the slap of flesh". Ew! aucune critique | ajouter une critique

He said he hadn't wanted to take Chelsea Swan hostage. Jonah Fairfax claimed it was the only way he could keep her safe from the terrorist cell he'd infiltrated. Chelsea didn't trust his secretive past or his steely blue eyes. And she certainly didn't trust the edgy, vulnerable way Jonah made her feel. Then his cover was blown and Chelsea was caught in the cross fire. Now, on the run across the unforgiving Colorado Rockies and with nowhere to hide, Chelsea had no choice but to accept Jonah's protection. Her life depended on doing exactly what he said--consequences to her vulnerable heart be damned.... Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |

I really liked both Fax and Chelsea. I liked how Chelsea started out as unsure of herself and thought herself a wimp, but as the story progressed she became a more confident woman able to take control of situations and of her life. It was an action-packed, entertaining read, that held my interest throughout. ( )
