Two girls enjoy their pink tutus and explain why they should always be pink

it is about a girl and her best friend Emily and how they wear their new pink tutus not just to dance class but everywhere. The girls think dance is hard but they look so good that they continue dancing and they get strawberry ice cream after class and its okay that they spill because it is pink, just like the tutus. I would use this for grades kindergarten to 2nd grade because it has simple words and sentences.

This book is realistic fiction because it stars two girls wearing their pink tutus everywhere. I think the illustrations were done in watercolor and colored pencil. ( )

Is a story of two best friends who love their pink tutus. They wear them everywhere; to the movies, the store, the beach, and to dance class. They want to be famous dancers just like their teacher. So they practice hard, everyday. And when they get done with their hard work, they treat themselves to strawberry ice cream, so in case they spill it, it will not ruin their tutus.

Gotta say, the girls in this book are a little preoccupied with their appearance.

And I don't find it very interesting to read.

But if your children are into dance right now, check it out - they might like this one. ( )
