As with almost every DK book ever created, this one is full of lush, almost surreal photos that pop out against a stark white background, and also includes a number of photos of dogs just doing their thing in the place where they might do it. So full of information you likely won't ever read or look at it all, this book just keeps coming down off the shelf and is paged through again and again, by me and by my kids (especially my youngest... not quote two). Sometimes we're looking for what breed a certain dog might be, or we're "shopping" for the "perfect dog," or we're just looking at the vast variations on a theme. The theme? One of my favorites: dog.
