4.5 Stars! Exciting and entertaining! I thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully written story. Great characters, strong historical aspects, and twists & turns that will keep you guessing right up until the very end. I’ll definitely read more of her work in the future!

Takes place over seven years never felt like a love story. She gets married at the end of the book because it was the easiest way to say the end. The book was a soap opera drama without any romance. Just like my life. ( )

Started but didn't finish

I sacrificed a whole night of sleep to read this. I still can't believe every male in this story was pining for the heroine. I thought that part of the plot was a bit disenchanting and unrealistic. Nevertheless, it was a good and fun read. ( )

I enjoyed it. I felt like the author was going for a Jane Austen style story. This feels like a regency story where the female characters surprisingly have jobs. The main character had a lot of potential love interests. Holy Cow. I felt like every single man in the book was in love with her. ( )
