The Barn Owls by JJohnston_ Tony - Ray_ Deborah Kogan Children's story which I listened to and the pages are colorful. Owls have lived near barn for hundreds of years near wheat fields. Talks of what they eat for food as the day goes by and night comes. I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device). Barn Owls was very nicely illustrated book about a family of bar owls who have lived in a barn for generations. The story itself was very simple. This was a story that wanted the reader to focus on the illustrations and how the owls looked and lived. It is visually very pretty, and you can tell that the illustrator worked very hard on the strong detail of the owls and their surrounding areas, including the barn, the woods around it and the other animals that live in the barn. Overall a good book to give as a first present to a new reader and definitely one to have on the classroom book shelf. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
For at least 100 years, generations of barn owls have slept, hunted, called, raised their young, and glided silently above the wheat fields around an old barn. Aucune description trouvée dans une bibliothèque |
