FROM AMAZON: Set in Pennsylvania's Amish country, The Revelation is the final chapter in the saga of Jonas Mast and Leah Ebersol's inspirational love story. Forces continue to try to keep them apart, but nothing can deny their love. ( ) This fifth book wraps up the series rather nicely. The rest of the secrets are revealed, at least to select characters. Couples, for the most part, get their HEA, but maybe not in the expected way. There are deaths and births, which makes the book more realistic. There is a reconciliation between members of the community, and some leave the strict order while others adhere to it. Beverly Lewis tells an interesting story, and does well with character development. However, the contrived nature of at least three of the families in the series left me wondering what a family tree would look like. As a character in Tamar Myers’ novels said once, “There is so much intermarrying, I am my own first cousin.” This novel wasn’t quite that bad, but it came close. Still, it’s definitely an engrossing series, one that you will want to see through to the very last epilogue. The final book of the Abrahm's Daughters series finds Leah reunited with Jonah, but will he survive the harsh Proving to be reinstated as a member of the church and be able to finally marry Leah? Sadie has found peace through her faith, but will she ever find love and the family she longs for? Dr. Schwartz continues to struggle with his long buried secret that will effect the entire Ebersol family if revealed. Lydiann continues to struggle with her feelings for Jake, but knows they cannot ever marry. Hannah and Mary Ruth are reunited and allowed to visit freely with one another, but will it be enough to life Hannah out of her troubled state? A satisfying end to a great series! I don't know why it took me so long to read it! aucune critique | ajouter une critique

"Conclusion to the series spanning three generations in a quaint Old Order Amish community. A story of love, faith, and second chances featuring five courting-age sisters and their extended family that is both heartrending and uplifting"--Provided by publisher.
