It is hard to tell if this attractive Random House HC edition referring to 1951 is a first edition.It has no ISBN no though a further HC by Random House in 1957 may have had one. Because of the decoration it may or may not have had a slipcover. I see that a member has posted a photogragh of an edition in a paper cover. Maybe this is the cover I should have. It is hard to tell.
