☹️ // 🤮 // ----- Det sista ansiktet: 😃 The Gotland murder wave continues in the sixth entry in Mari Jungstedt's series set on that pastoral Swedish island. It features Detective Anders Knutas, with journalist Johan Berg a strong second lead: both have co-workers and family members who are continuing characters. "Dark Angel" begins with the murder of an extroverted event planner, who is cheating on his wife, and who ruined the career of a former competitor. But things quickly get more complicated , as it becomes clear that he may not have been the intended victim. As Knutas and his colleagues try to unravel the case, Knutas is trying to deal with mysteries in his own life - within his family, and in his relationship with his colleague Karin Jacobsson. I enjoyed this book more than the previous two entries in the series. The mystery the police are trying to solve becomes a question of character, and the characters are strongly drawn, interesting, and convincing characters. Knutus family problems are involving, as is his relationship with his co-worker Karin. But Johan and (particularly) Emma seem dragged into this story, and Emma grows ever more tiresome. Why doesn't Johan wake up and say hi to the photographer he works with every day? aucune critique | ajouter une critique

The successful and glamorous event planner, Viktor Algärd, has recently left his wife and children for his new lover. When he is found poisoned after a big night out, his spurned wife is a natural suspect. But the motive widens, as three cottages are burned down on the peaceful vacation destination of Gotland Island. In order for Detective Anders Knutas to catch the killer, he must unravel the truth that lies hidden at the heart of a broken family- and face secrets of his own.
