The story that started with Escape to Challenge continues in Who Dares Define Victory, book three of the Moondark Saga, a series of novels set in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest. Gan Moondark and the Wolves of Jalail have won a decisive victory at Bear Paw River, delivering a humiliating defeat to Ola but also proving to the King of Harbundai that Gan and his company are a very real threat to his own throne. Across the border in Ola, the creche survivors have been struggling to make themselves valuable to King Altanar, fearful of the consequences of being expendable.
