Elephants cannot dance - it says so right there in the book. But, as Piggie points out, that doesn't mean they can't TRY...and Gerald invents a dance all his own.

This book is about a piggie who tries to teach his elephant friend to dance, but alas, the elephant cannot dance. But after much trying and failing and sadness, the elephant seems to create his own dance that other animals then want to learn.

Convinced that elephants can not dance, Gerald pulls out a book of what elephants can do. Peggie urges him to try and teaches him some moves. What I noticed after reading Mo Willems books about Peggie and Gerald is that no matter what there is a lesson to be taught. He never fails to teach kids about coping with problems and even finding a solution to some of them through the words. And in this particular book it teaches kids to challenge what people say you can’t do because you never know how good you’ll be at it. I enjoyed reading this book! ( )

Do you like elephants and piggie books? Do you like elephants cannot dance?well if you do you should read this book elephants cannot dance.It is so much fun to read and they are so funny.They lath so hard that I koodent stop reading.Mowillems elephants and piggies can take and squirrels and rinos and finally wails. But the most books that I like is elephants cannot dance !!!!!!!! The funny part is that he is like copying Piggie.you can make silly and funny voice is when you read so it can sound funny and Silly!!!!!!!!!!So you can laugh but the best part That Iike is wehn I elefint was like let's dance and then he was like oof.It was the silliest and funnyest part ever !I love this book so Much and it is just because it so funny and Silly i like Mowillums Books so much because they Are so much fun to read and their are differing Tips af books by Mowillums .I love them so much fun.I think you will want to read it agin. It is okay if you don't, like it and I give it 100'00'0'00' stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
