It approaches the topic of reproduction in a way that is totally accessible to young kids with questions, without making up some silly fake story about where babies come from. I think that the book was very realistic in the terms of Sister Bear's questions, and provides a good example for parents who might not know how to explain to their young children about how their new baby sibling is coming into their lives. In this book, this was just telling about Brother and Sister Bear getting ready to have a new sibling. Sister was the one that had all the questions. She wondered why Mama's lap was getting smaller and how was the baby going to come out. All of these questions are typical questions that any child would ask their mother whenever she was pregnant. I never got a chance to ask any of these questions because I'm the baby in my family, so I never saw my mom's lap getting smaller or anything like that. This is a cute book for those that have questions about babies and stuff like that. Also I always wondered why the Berenstain Bears never had real names. Their names are Papa, Mama, Sister and Brother, but other characters in the series had real names. Maybe that's something I should look into. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
