I was not a huge fan of the art style, but there is a lot of interesting detail to look at. A good way to teach about strange instruments and obscure musical terminology while learning the alphabet. ( ) I truly enjoyed this book. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and this colorful and interactive alphabet book defines all aspects of music. This book is a must read due to the simple definitions and relation to different aspects of music as well as the vivid illustrations. The overall meaning of this non-fiction picture book is to educate readers about the beauty and complexity of music. I thought this was an inserting book that discussed and taught the reader about different components of music. One thing I liked about this book was that the author used the letters of the alphabet, upper and lower case letters A through Z, to introduce the different concept of music. Such as when the author wrote, “Cc is for CDs full of carols, Cajun, and country western. I also liked this book, because it included a glossary from A-Z that had different notes and a beat for each letter, such as “w” was for whistling. The main purpose of this book was to show that music has an abundance of variety. The Main Point of “M is for Music” is to associate all the letters of the alphabet with musical things in order to show that music is in everything and everywhere you look. I enjoyed this book because of the illustrations. They were very engaging and revenant to the plot. Each picture was filled with a lot of color that sort of wisped from page to allowing the reader to make a connection. The illustrations were also very intriguing in that what ever was being talked about on that page was illustrated. Allowing the reader to make the connection between the words and what it means. The plot of this book was enjoyable because it was easy to follow along with and very organized. Since each page represented a different letter that in turn represented a different musical entity. It was organized in alphabetical order, this let the reader follow along in a simple way or even skip around. Since none of them are directly related. I also enjoyed how at the end of the book there was a list of each letter and its accompanied musical entity. This showed me that even if you read through the book at a faster pace or forgot one letter, there was a place you could go to figure out the answer. Opposed to flipping through the entire book again. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
