The Empath. The word has found its way into our consciousness accompanied by ideas of healing, sharing emotion and pain. Empaths are sensitive, caring, responsive people who have at the core of their nature an innate ability to receive energy, information and awareness from others with a depth and intensity that is beyond our customary understanding of empathy. Yet, this very receptivity and permeability brings its own challenges. It is vital for empaths to recognize themselves as such and to consciously explore, understand and address this energetic flow in their life. Self-inquiry is the essential tool to understanding all that motivates and colors your experience of the world. The book explores in depth this receptivity, as well as tools, concepts and approaches to support understanding and how to flourish with this heightened sensitivity. This book is a shared journey, edited from the sharing of participants in years of workshops and sessions with Elisabeth Fitzhugh and the Orion group. Dancers Between Realms was one of the first books to offer insight into living as a sensitive receptive person and continues to be a vital voice of understanding and support.… (plus d'informations)

I just finished reading Dancers Between Realms by Elisabeth Y. Fitzhugh. It's a non fiction book. It's a book about Empaths and empath energy. It explains why things are they way they are for empaths. It also gives ways they can cope better in a world full of non empaths. It gives pointers on ways to channel the energies they are constantly receiving.

The book was very easy to read and understand. A lot of books like these are written with many big dollar words that leaves the reader feeling lost and confused. I personally really enjoyed this book. I feel like I understand myself and others better because of this book. There were many parts in this book that really struck home for me. Especially when it says that many Empaths are sometimes diagnosed with depression. I was diagnosed with that as a child. Because of this book I now know why I am the way I am. I also know ways to interact with people and channel energy better.

There wasn't really much I didn't like about this book. I feel like the examples were a little brushed over and not really played out as much as they should have been. I also feel like there were many things that were mentioned in the book that could have been explained just a little better. Other than that, I didn't have any problems with the book at all.

I would have to say that I would recommend this book to all empaths out there. I feel like it would help them understand themselves a lot better. It would also give them helpful tips on how to cope and deal with the energies they experience. I would also recommend this book to anybody who is a friend or a relative of an empath. I feel that a lot of people who aren't an empath would understand empaths better if they read this book. They wouldn't feel so distant from them if they understood what the empath went through on a daily basis. ( )
