"Den hjælpsomme pirat" handler om en fuphistorie om et krus med en skjult skat - Helgenen afslører fupnummeret og befrier en uheldig agent. "Større vildt" handler om en filmstjerne der morer sig med at få to mænd til at risikere livet for sig ved at lege tyrefægtning med et næsehorn. "Den renere kur" handler om at den rene kur mod en led satan er at slå ham ihjel og tetraklorkulstof i et lille rum er en nem metode. "Den umådeholdne reformator" handler om en dobbeltmoralsk afholdsmand der får en tur i Helgenens spinmaskine og bliver stemplet som hæler og fulderik. "Den uforbederlige frikadelle" handler om en tyv og frikadelle der også har en voldtægt på samvittigheden og Helgenen stiller ham til regnskab. "Det bekvemme uhyre" handler om et mordkomplot med Nessie som fiktiv deltager. Det får en uventet slutning.
