This is definetely not a story to be taken seriously. For one thing there is a Duke of Rodkill but despite it being written as a joke I really got into the story and enjoyed the flippant mood (and dirty jokes)

Just wish it could have been a full lenght book. ( )

Eh. Too short for the world building. Also it had humor of the 'NO HOMO' variant in it en I never enjoy that. ( )

My favorite short by this writing pair. I really loved this one, more sci-fi than fantasy, but with their trade mark charactor developement and humor. ( )

This is one of Ilona Andrews' stories that I liked the least. It might have been too short for me to really get into it, or just not what I was looking for. It lacked the usual sense of humour I'm so fond of, and there are just too many details and kinds of people so you get lost in them and I think it's here detrimental to the plot itself.
It's still a nice short story, pleasant to read as the authors' style is as amazing as in their other works, but definitely not their best from my perspective. ( )
